For a die-hard fan, it's always tough to hear of your beloved band's willful departure from music. Although I wanted to eschew myself from the reality of their ultimate demise, I was very much excited when I heard Folly were releasing a digital EP of their final material. Their final effort encapsulates their perpetual energy for one last hoorah. The last chapter of an 11-year career has come to an end as Folly leave their final thumbprint on the hardcore/punk scene.

Resist Convenience is the second full length album from Folly. It was released on March 10, 2006, and follows on from their first release, Insanity Later. The songs "False Evidence Appearing Real" and "The Wake" have been featured on their MySpace page. The song "Broken" originally appeared on the band's 2002 Demo. Guest vocals include Logan Laflotte of Paulson. The title of the track "False Evidence Appearing Real" is from the 2001 movie Donnie Darko.

Insanity Later is the first full length album from the band Folly, and was released on Triple Crown Records. The album included two songs from their 2002 demo: "Please Don't Shoot the Piano Player, He's Doing the Best He Can", and "The City Is Drowning". Guest vocals include Joey Southside of The Banner, Eric Gunderson of Killed by Memories, and Erin Farley. The title is a reference to the Seinfeld episode The Serenity Now. On the last track "The Weak and the Wounded" a snippet from the film Session 9 appears towards the end of the song, with the character of "Simon" from the film stating "I live in the weak and the wounded Doc..."

Folly were a band from Sussex, New Jersey. Their music is a mix of hardcore, metal, punk and ska. The band's final lineup included Arben Colaku on bass, Geoff Towle on guitar, Anthony Wille on drums, Agim Colaku on guitar, and Jon Tummillo on vocals.
