Arroyo - 2010 Self-Titled

Band : Arroyo
Album : Self-Titled
Release Year : 2010
Genre : Screamo / Experimental / Post-Rock

Tracklist :
1. Segel Setzen
2. Hunde Werden Wie Wölfe
3. Zwischen Den Trümmern
4. Krater/Ausbruch
5. Und Abermals Ergreifen Wir Die Flucht

Maybe some of you guys already know their debut EP "Individuum & Massen", 2 long & heavier songs, that loud-quiet-loud-quiet... stuff. That's not what you gonna get with their new selftitled record! This time there are 5 songs in 47 minutes which show you the change of this band. I really don't know how to describe it - it's more like a Indie-like Post-Rock with some elements of Post-Hardcore and Screamo. I think the cause for this was the line-up changes: their vocalist/keyboard guy left the band so they had to decide how to go on. Now there's the voice of the bassplayer and a great feature by Daniel from Thoughts Paint The Sky! This record comes in a handmade digipack packed in a jute bag, every record is a one of a kind! Try before you buy, buy if you like it! -musicasheroin

Arroyo - 2009 Inviduum & Massen

Band : Arroyo
Album : Inviduum & Massen
Release Year : 2010
Genre : Screamo / Experimental / Post-Rock

Tracklist :
01. Paranorm
02. Kanaan

Hailing from Germany, this release from Arroyo only consists of two tracks, but a total of half an hour between the two. Paranorm starts out with a speech by George Mcgovern as it builds up slowly into full fledged epicness. Once his German ass starts screaming it gives me goosebumps, though I don't know what the hell he's saying. It's basically just a bunch of glorious build ups and slower, more intricate ambient parts, with some talking here and there. It's good background music if you're doing something.
When in 2009 the debut EP “Individuum & Massen” peeled off from the shadow world, the tides burst. Concert tours lead the band through Germany and Poland. Arroyo gave concerts with bands like “The Black Heart Rebellion”, “Heirs”, “Morne”, “Neil On Impression” and “Who Calls So Loud”. Their performance – shimmering air.
