Polina is a screamo/hardcore group from Newfoundland, Canada featuring former members of Narrators. And here's their new 7" with 2 songs and it's about 7 minutes long. This one is very addictive to me, i can't stop listening to this scince the first time i get it from their bandcamp. I really love the guitar work, they add a little of mathy influencehere and it's really good!! Now i can't wait for their full-lenght and hope it's good as this 7"!! Go get it now!!

Polina are delivering a blasting , passionate , tortured EmoCore.Their music is a well done mixture of furious , abrasive , frantic musical parts having a slight heavy feel to it and with a chaotic touch here and there. Pretty good guitar work.Raging , screamed sung vocals from which emerges a huge dose of aggressivity , despair and pain.Pretty good stuff!

This Polina tape is one in a million. It’s like the unheard mathcore recordings of the early 90s. The tape is scarily angelic. It’s comprised of discordant and sometimes grating vocals while complicated high pitched shreddery is blatantly blown out to an ear pleasing finish. The music is so remarkable it almost makes you want to end whatever pop rock music project you’ve been working on and start a scuzzed-out complirock power-band like Polina.
