Adelaide’s emerging melodic/hardcore outfit Raccoon City Police Department (props to the Resident Evil reference!) have release their untitled 2011 EP independently through their Bandcamp page. RCPD have etched themselves a unique place in the Adelaide Hardcore scene, with their own brand of strong, melodic lines and raw, powerful lyrics. They are an emerging 5 piece from South Australia. They met through a love of music while playing in various bands around our local townships. Each of them have studied Music at Diploma level and it has a heavy influence on the bands sound - which is a blend of frantic Post-Hardcore, ambient Post-Rock and emotional and powerful vocals.
