Band : We Followed Tigers
Album : and then we were killed
Release Year : 2005
Genre : Post-Rock | Mathrock | Instrumental | Experimental
Tracklist :
1 I Died in an Eighties Car Crash
2 The Ghost of Allen Copeland
3 Jinks
In the early summer of 2004, WFT got back together and created “So Much For Summer”. The first two tracks are by far the most energetic songs the band has ever composed, with the third and final song on the EP a slower, melodic tribute to Durkan’s father who had died that year. After the release, Lippi went back to school, and We Followed Tigers was again separated.
Both Valentino and Durkan say the band “wouldn’t be the same” without Lippi, and will therefor not continue as “We Followed Tigers”. However, Lippi has never stated he would not continue the project, and it remains to be seen if they will pick up where they left off once he returns from school.
