Night Hag is a band from Adelaide, Australia, playing dark hardcore. They feature members and ex-members of The Rivalry, Prisonbitch, God God Dammit Dammit, The Weight and many more!
April 2012 sees Adelaide's Night Hag set to release their 7" record entitled Confidence Man on MONOLITH and tour the East Coast. Having embodied a sense of DIY professionalism from the word go, Night Hag has experienced a couple of extremely productive years as a band. Shortly before setting off on their extensive tour of South East Asia in January, the five-piece found time to record Confidence Man. It is the latest in a succession of dark releases, with an approach earthed in hardcore punk while viciously tearing into the realms of black metal and doom. Lean, precise, and excruciatingly yet effortlessly executed, Night Hag is a part of a musical lineage that includes The Rivalry, Space Bong, Hydromedusa, God God Dammit Dammit and more. The four track release follows on from 2011’s debut album Gilded Age, the same year’s New Tourists EP (both released on Capitalgames Records), and 2010’s self-titled EP.

God God Dammit Dammit are suuuuper rad so this bad must be worth a listen!
