Mikoto is back after a very good first album, We Are The Architects. Line up changes over the label, and although they are still in top form with these 5 new titles. The plans are a bit more screamo down giving way to progressive post hardcore influences which give an unexpected and emotional relief to all new songs, and singing is more varied (it even has the right to a passage on the La Dispute awesome "Most Men Are Weak"), the short name of this EP could not be more appropriate. The change suits the group perfectly. What does not kill you makes you stronger ... and also more on the splendid epic "Creating A New Me". Magic!
