From the moment you press play this album hits the ground running and doesn’t turn back. Haunt What’s Left starts off with the track ‘Charmer’ which sets an eerie mood for the rest of the album. They maintain a good blend of heavy and technical riffing all through out, which keeps you listening from beginning to end. The intricate guitar work, alone, is worth the listen, but the group chants, driving rhythm guitars, and breakdowns iced the cake. The production quality is awesome this time around. There isn’t too much of this or too little of that, the mix is just right. This sophomore release has some catchy tunes and has already managed to get a few of the songs stuck in my head. 

For coming into this with no preconceived notions, I left a pretty happy camper. There is enough driving force to propel you from start to finish with ease. It’s an extremely easy listen especially compared to what has been coming out these days. Haunt What’s Left is, all in all, just a good, well written album and It will keep kids coming back for more.
