Paper Vultures is a scandinavian band from Finland playing some original mixture of music.
Kuiper Belt is a record designed to show how absolutely different influences can get together and create a whole new picture of a modern progressive band. It was produced by Joel Lauver (Still Remains, Trenches, Haste The Day, Job For A Cowboy, Miss May I) in Nashville. There is a strong mix of ambience and hardness in the music combined with the unique vocals. This is the main feature of the record. Each track has its own evolving atmosphere. Long but very dynamic songs gradually flow over keeping the audience constantly thrilled for what comes next. Emotions they express are very familiar to any of us. This is a brave experiment in the word of hard music and it can take you to a place you have never been before.

Each track has its own story about the flaws which sometimes people don't want to fight against inside themselves. But all together they follow a single concept of how these flaws will affect their hosts when everything that we call our world is about to end. There are several amazing guest vocal appearances on the record. These tracks opened shows for bands like Underoath, Norma Jean, Blessthefall, For The Fallen Dreams, Caspian, Tesseract, Dufresne and Hopes Die Last. This release was recorded with an indispensable assistance of three outstanding musicians. Their names are Georg Risto Vasiliev, Serj Savva and Felix Shvedov. Without them these tracks wouldn't be the same.
