There seems to be a new breed of incredible punk / screamo bands emerging from the UK. The latest band to step into the fray is Ravachol. With members of Kasa, ex- Crocus and ex-Baptists, it already sounds like they are going to be amazing before you even hear the first riff. The fantastic vocals and lyrics of this female fronted band really do make you want to listen to this EP on repeat over and over. It is clear a lot of heart and passion goes into the music this band writes. Personal favourite on the EP is ‘Know / Learn’ as you can hear a combination of La Dispute and Grown Ups influences shining through in their music. Having already done a short UK stint, the summer of 2011 is when Ravachol will really explode into the UK domain. Keep your ears to the ground on this one.
