07 Save Yourself
If any proof is needed that Edmonton is the hardcore hot-bed of the world, one need not look any farther than Mahria.
This recording is unreal. The way the Mike and Lealand’s guitars weave in and around each other is astonishing. These two boys are of one mind, so perfectly matched and deft, they might as well be a veritable 4-armed Goro of guitar. Durrell’s drumming is as solid and at its most inventive as it’s ever been. The strength and confidence in Corby’s voice should inspire any young lady to step in from the outskirts and get involved. Awed by this recording. This could be the best Canadian hardcore release of 2011 - I don’t care if I’m biased, doesn’t make it any less true.
