As good as this EP can there be, after already looks much better. Previously composed of five members, two singers, a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer, Warsaw Was Raw was pruned of himself. So there remains a drummer and guitarist / vocalist for cause as much chaos and noise as possible. It is in this incarnation I met the group and was therefore a little disappointed to find no record yet exists for this new chapter in the life of the group.
Chaajoth will be the only mark left by the quintet of the time when their music was like enough at the beginning of The Locust or Pg99. Ten years earlier and Warsaw Was Raw might have been part of the Robotic Empire label next to The Now and Employer, Employee. However, compared to the latter two, the cursor here tends more towards punk to metal, even if there is too. The full nine tracks of hysterical screaming two singers jump with epileptic movements of the trio guitar / bass / drums whose condition is so advanced that you could suggest a split of the two hemispheres of the brain to treat all the hard the group.
Today the only two remaining members continue to hold the banner proudly in this chaotic madness, between punk, grind and metal crossed plans, and make more noise than the songs Chaajoth. In the form of this EP a quarter of an hour late form of this group met in Paris as it frustrates relation to the securities today. However, there will always be those who have seen this group at that time on stage and enjoy this document. Or even to miss those days! Solid but filled with question marks, is enough to convince Chaajoth without really fully satisfy. The adventure continues anyway and there will soon be a result of this EP and a new opportunity to take a bigger tatane. Then funded the group with the purchase of this disc to continue to take on the chin!

Warsaw Was Raw - 2011 Jahiliya
Band : WarsawWasRaw
Album : Jahiliya
Release Year : 2011
Genre : Chaotic | Power Violence | Noisecore | Experimental
Tracklist :
1. Jahiliya
Are you a black mass bully with delusions of grandeur, craving to kick your peers into an early bliss at the pavlovian call of smothered strings and shattered skins ? Are you one drinking sour-sweet sweat from naked truths, clashing against walls of sound and laments on a bad moon rising ? Are you endlessly boxing your subcounscious with bags of ice cubes made from the unfiltered tears of street-level deities ? Have you ever been lured by third eyes winking at you from the bottom of the dream dumpster ? Look no further. WARSAWWASRAW is the sensitive blackhole were all your expectations have come, crashed, and successfully melted themselves into cogs of a software designed to churn out anthems of post-modern civilized despair in the face of time, excess and the absolute.
Trimmed down from a five piece to a threesome, the two hair-brained rethoric finally reached its current maximized number-to-efficiency ratio, sealing the deal to stir the air of city bleak and trauma with rude guitars and vulgar drums wrapped in a resin of spit and saliva.
“Jahiliya” is the bands debut contribution to the Three One G roster, a one song 7" single.
