This skramz band are nice little freshies, existing in the exciting new Sunshine Coast scene comprising primarily of DIY garage and house shows, thus breeding their own style of hardcore, screamo and punk music. The songs show some nice variety in melody, moving seamlessly from slower moving stuff to straight up thrashy parts, but still being able to maintain their average song length under one minute.
This debut EP is a good first start for this productive band, and it always makes me happy when great new Aussie screamo bands start up, as we have lacked in the past 3-4 years much of the great screamo kicking round in the early 00's. Recorded by Chris Brownbill, the dude behind all the best new DIY Brissy recordings. I look forward to seeing these dudes live, screaming their little hearts out in a garage or house show near you. -ausgrind
