Reno Dakota are an Emo/Math/Indie/Pop band who formed at the start of 2011 after meeting at university in Cambridge. They released their first EP “Popularity” through Wanderlust Recordings In May 2011.
Reno Dakota sounds like "Algernon Cadwallader" meet with Grown Ups, clean guitar and mathy part with fast drum drum beat like "Grown Ups". This EP is catchy for sure.
I found this EP on "Maths" Facebook page. Yeah, cause their drummer is playing here too. The sound of the drum is same with "Maths" latest release "Ascent", and it's awesome for sure. This is a highly recommended, for everyone who like indie music with mathy part inside, you should try this one. Well, enjoy!!!
