Spencer Shoop was touring the world with one of his many ultra-successful bands (Her Name Here, Caution, White Savages). He was on his last gig in Canada before heading out to the European leg of the tour when he stumbled upon a homeless drummer with an outrageous beard. The drummer had a broken drum stick and seemed like a good guy, so they started a band.
Matt and Spencer met one day and they said hey "let's make a band", then they made one and everything was great but it was hard work but they always tried hard and believed in God and things came out alright in the end.
"Like forcing the triangle block through the square hole. We do crazy time signatures with lots of melody, tons of energy, and noisy/ambient bits wherever we can."
