11. Passenger Universe is a Posthardcore band from Bloomington, Indiana, containing members of Good Luck and Ghost Mice. I was expecting a folk or indie punk band type of sideproject, but was surprised at this album. Universe reminds me of Life At These Speeds mixed with influences from bands such as City Of Ships or La Dispute. Universe definitley leans towards the modern posthardcore end of the spectrum. With that said, Universe has a lot more going on and add violin to some of their songs. Passenger gets better after each listen. Do yourself a favor and check Universe out. Definitely a breath of fresh air in a scene where many bands play the same old types of music! Enjoy.
